Money Masters Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching financial literacy skills.
Money Masters founder and president, Lisa Dworkin, combined her two disparate careers with her desire for improved financial literacy to create Money Masters. Lisa’s employment background includes trading foreign currency futures at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, teaching at Sea World, teaching middle school social studies and science, and writing business curriculum for adults with visual impairments. She is a certified teacher with endorsements in business, social studies, and science. In addition to her expertise in the fields of finance and education, Lisa is an award-winning speaker.
Lisa’s educational background includes a B.A. in sociology from Northwestern University, an M.B.A. in finance and international business from Kellogg School of Management, and an M.A.T. in education from National-Louis University.
Since founding Money Masters Lisa has been invited to present at the National Middle School Association’s annual conference, been appointed to the Illinois Jump$tart Coalition’s board, and become a Money Smart Week partner with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. Currently she is working on a book for parents who want to teach personal finance to their children.
